La Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, forte de son attachement à la social-démocratie, encourage et soutient les acteurs progressistes qui partagent ses valeurs. Elle œuvre à bâtir des alliances et des plateformes de dialogue qui aideront les forces progressistes à diffuser leurs idées et consolider les acquis démocratiques.
La Tunisie constitue depuis 2011 un grand espoir pour toute la région de voir un régime démocratique durable s’établir dans le monde arabe. Compte tenu de cet enjeu, la FES se donne pour objectif de favoriser le dialogue des forces progressistes en Tunisie pour les aider dans leur combat en faveur de la démocratie et la justice sociale.
La révolution tunisienne a libéré la parole dans le pays. La FES cherche à encourager des espaces de discussion de qualité et alternatifs. Nous organisons depuis 2017, le café politique « Fissandi – Dans le vif du sujet » qui se veut un espace de débat ouvert sur les dossiers d’actualité nationale et internationale, afin de généraliser la compréhension de leurs causes profondes et enjeux pour la Tunisie au plus grand public, et ce, dans un langage simple et familier.

La FES en Tunisie soutient également la diffusion des connaissances afin de permettre en partenariat avec d’autres organisations, a soutenu la réalisation d’ouvrage et d’études sur les questions politiques en Tunisie
Nous encourageons également l’émergence de nouvelles générations de militantes et militants proches de nos valeurs. Avec l’école politique notamment, nous cherchons à donner aux jeunes générations les outils et les connaissances nécessaires pour être en mesure de répondre aux défis politiques et économiques de la Tunisie.
